Pinterest Shopping API Compliance

This addendum summarizes AtlasCore alignment with Pinterest Developer Terms and Shopping API requirements for connected Pinterest merchant accounts.

Independent application status

AtlasCore is an independent software application. Pinterest and related marks are trademarks of Pinterest, Inc. or its affiliates. AtlasCore is not sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with Pinterest.

Permitted SaaS sync operations

AtlasCore accesses Pinterest APIs only after explicit merchant authorization. Permitted operations include:

- Catalog sync: allowlisted product feed metadata for dashboard visibility (`catalogs:write` required for `items/batch`)

  • Order notifications: operational webhook envelopes; buyer fields are not retained on the ledger
  • Inventory sync: product availability updates where the stored grant includes `catalogs:write`

AtlasCore does not scrape Pinterest surfaces, harvest pins at scale, or access data outside authorized API scopes.

Rate limits & API discipline

- AtlasCore respects Pinterest API rate limits and implements backoff on throttled responses

  • Catalog sync jobs are batched and scheduled to minimize redundant polling
  • Failed requests are retried with exponential backoff

Credential security & prohibited practices

- Token encryption: OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM)

  • Transport: Production traffic uses TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS)
  • Tenant isolation: Each AtlasCore user links their own Pinterest merchant account; cross-user access is denied
  • Prohibited: screen scraping, credential sharing, competitive intelligence harvesting, or reselling Pinterest API data

Seller controls

- Disconnect Pinterest in AtlasCore to stop sync and purge stored credentials
